Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical architecture for scalable, reliable, and secure AI agents within the Team domain.
- Partner with Engineering Managers and Product Managers to translate product roadmaps into technical designs and deliverables.
- Write code, prototype new patterns, and resolve complex technical bottlenecks under load.
- Collaborate with Principal and Senior Principal Engineers on best practices, agent patterns, and spec-driven development paradigms.
- Guide, mentor, and elevate engineers within the Team area.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing, building, and operating highly scalable, mission-critical distributed systems and SaaS products, ideally hosted on AWS.
- Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and deliver software architecture from design through production.
- Strong enthusiasm for agentic development practices, LLM integration, and modern software paradigms.
- Ability to design high-level technical solutions while remaining hands-on with code execution and system performance.
- Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to technical peers and product leadership.
- Experience with LLMs, autonomous agents, or ML models is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise integration frameworks such as Apache Camel or event-driven messaging systems such as Apache Pulsar is preferred.
- Experience establishing CI/CD, testing, and deployment strategies for complex systems is preferred.
- Workforce management or restaurant-operations domain knowledge is preferred.
