Responsibilities
- Perform quality engineering activities including test planning, strategy, validation, automation, and release readiness.
- Design, execute, and maintain UI, API, backend, integration, and performance tests across systems, services, data flows, interfaces, and dependencies.
- Establish QA processes and standards that prevent defects, improve quality, optimize performance, and support customer expectations.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and delivery teams on requirements, acceptance criteria, risks, changes, and testability throughout the SDLC.
- Troubleshoot issues across systems, applications, services, integrations, test environments, and networks.
- Review developer source code for potential issues, maintainability, quality, and coding-standard adherence.
- Support CI/CD and DevOps practices by integrating automated test execution into delivery pipelines.
- Provide technical guidance, support proof-of-concepts, coach team members informally, and communicate quality insights to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong experience in quality engineering, test strategy, test planning, QA, automation, and software validation.
- Hands-on experience with UI and API automation tools such as Playwright and Cypress.
- Experience with API integration testing, backend validation, systems integration, web services, and standardized communication protocols.
- Experience designing and maintaining integration tests for data flows, interfaces, dependencies, and system interactions.
- Experience with API performance testing and exposure to Gatling and BlazeMeter.
- Strong understanding of requirements management and software development life cycle practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, workflow analysis, and problem-solving abilities across systems and environments.
- Working knowledge of version control tools such as Git; experience with Insomnia, XRay, and Jira.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering and quality practices, including GitHub Copilot, Playwright MCP servers, and automation accelerators.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and present quality insights.
- Ability to work independently in complex situations, support proof-of-concepts, and guide others informally.
