Responsibilities
- Design and build web applications with modern web technologies.
- Create intuitive and polished user interfaces.
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to iterate on platform design and functionality.
- Integrate and implement backend APIs to create new UI features.
- Consult with biologists and bioinformaticians to understand genomic analysis workflows and develop useful interfaces.
Requirements
- 2–7 years of experience designing and writing software in a rigorous engineering environment.
- Experience with some of React, GraphQL, Apollo, and TypeScript.
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6).
- Solid understanding of core UX and design principles.
- Industry experience building single-page applications.
