Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Pega Customer Service, case management, and government service workflow solutions.
- Develop complex case types, service intents, flows, Constellation-based user interfaces, and integrations using DX APIs.
- Translate business rules, government policies, legislation, security standards, privacy requirements, and accessibility requirements into Pega configurations.
- Apply Pega Guardrails, reuse patterns, performance tuning, secure coding, data handling, unit testing, and peer reviews.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and developers.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and manage technical deployment and post-implementation support.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, lead system architects, security teams, and delivery squads.
- Keep current with Pega technologies and advocate for improvements to project outcomes.
Requirements
- Mandatory Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) certification.
- 5–8 years of hands-on Pega development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience building complex Pega case management solutions and working with Pega Customer Service.
- Advanced case management, data modeling, and rule design skills.
- Strong knowledge of Pega Guardrails, performance tuning, and reuse patterns.
- Experience with Constellation UI constraints and best practices, secure coding, and data handling practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to interpret business rules, policy, and legislation into Pega configurations.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, take responsibility, and meet deadlines.
- Desirable experience with Pega Constellation architecture, Australian Government platforms or agencies, Pega Government Platform, self-service portals, Omni-Channel delivery, records management, correspondence frameworks, and cloud deployments.
