Responsibilities
- Own backend services, frontend services, and infrastructure components across Meta’s products and platforms.
- Write and review code, develop documentation and capacity plans, and debug complex production problems.
- Share an on-call rotation with the engineering team.
- Partner with engineering teams to deliver reliable, performant systems used by millions of users.
Requirements
- Experience learning software, frameworks, and APIs.
- An engineering degree, related technical degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience configuring and maintaining web servers, load balancers, relational databases, storage systems, and messaging systems.
- Experience coding in higher-level languages such as Python, Rust, PHP, or C++.
- Preferred qualifications include a BS or MS in Computer Science and experience applying responsible AI practices, prompt/context engineering, and agent orchestration.
