Responsibilities
- Architect and build highly scalable, high-concurrency backend microservices using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and distributed frameworks.
- Optimize big data streaming and batch-processing pipelines with cloud-native AWS services.
- Develop and maintain performant, reactive ReactJS frontend components for end-to-end features.
- Own application health through observability design, core-metric monitoring, and JVM performance tuning.
- Automate cloud infrastructure with Terraform, Terragrunt, and Kubernetes in collaboration with DevOps teams.
- Drive software quality, architectural standards, and technical depth across cross-functional PODs.
Requirements
- 4–6+ years of professional backend-focused software development experience with highly scalable applications.
- Deep proficiency in Java 17+ (SE/EE), Spring/Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and reactive programming.
- Practical experience developing applications with ReactJS.
- Hands-on AWS experience, including S3, Kinesis, RDS, and Lambda.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Terragrunt for infrastructure as code.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MySQL, plus data streaming architectures.
- Advanced written and conversational English for collaboration with US-based teams across East and West Coast time zones.
- Preferred: exposure to SRE practices, distributed tracing, APM tools, Apache Kafka, Spark, and zero-downtime CI/CD deployment strategies.
- Ability to operate proactively and independently with strong accountability and ownership.
