Responsibilities
- Design and build Appian process models, SAIL interfaces, Records, Sites, and Task Reports.
- Configure Appian security groups, role maps, and object-level security.
- Develop CDTs and supporting RDBMS schemas with the Architect.
- Build and maintain integrations with agency and government systems using Integration Objects, connected systems, APIs, and web services.
- Gather requirements from government stakeholders and implement Appian solutions independently.
- Participate in code and design reviews and apply Appian best practices.
- Analyze Appian and server logs to resolve application issues and escalate architectural concerns.
- Support UAT, VAPT remediation, production cutovers, governance documentation, audits, and change management.
- Mentor and review the work of junior developers.
- Engage directly with client business analysts and government project teams during requirements and UAT activities.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on Appian development experience and 7 years of overall IT experience.
- Experience with Appian 20.x or above, Appian security, SAIL scripting, CDTs, Task Reports, Records, Sites, and external system integration.
- Knowledge of RDBMS concepts and schema design, Appian best practices, server-side Appian configuration, and application log analysis.
- Ability to gather requirements, design and implement solutions independently, and explain technical designs clearly to business users.
- Appian Certified Associate Developer certification.
- Appian Certified Senior Developer certification.
- Singapore Government, statutory board, or comparable regulated-industry project experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with government data-classification handling, Government-on-Cloud environments, restricted network zones, change-management windows, and VAPT remediation documentation is preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site at government premises as required by the engagement.
