Responsibilities
- Set the technical direction for the team and guide frontend engineering vision.
- Create delightful user experiences with a focus on performance and accessibility.
- Build reusable components, write unit and integration tests, and improve code quality.
- Lead the architecture of important systems and anticipate scaling challenges.
- Design, build, and enhance Sound's core frontend infrastructure.
- Act as a player-coach and champion code quality and developer experience.
- Mentor and train other engineers on the team.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience writing production software.
- Live between GMT-8 and GMT-5 (North American timezones).
- Advanced knowledge of React and Typescript.
