Responsibilities
- Independently design and deliver scalable, maintainable, well-tested software features and service solutions.
- Use GitHub Copilot, AWS CodeWhisperer, Cursor AI, and Claude for AI-assisted development, design reviews, and improved development velocity and code quality.
- Lead technical analysis and estimation for assigned features and workstreams.
- Conduct peer code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Collaborate with architects and product teams on technical roadmap decisions.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps practices.
- Use Claude and ChatGPT to draft technical design documentation and specifications.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of software development experience with a record of delivering production-quality solutions.
- Solid proficiency in Java, Python, Go, or specialist languages, with deep expertise in relevant airline technology domains.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Agile delivery.
- Good system design skills and understanding of distributed systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred: proficiency with GitHub Copilot, AWS CodeWhisperer, Cursor AI, and Claude for AI-assisted development.
- Preferred: knowledge of airline technology systems and platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, and FLYR.
- Preferred: experience using Claude and ChatGPT for technical documentation and architecture decision records.
- Preferred: familiarity with advanced AWS services and Accelya’s AWS partnership.
