Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI and software products.
- Develop, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure and environments for AI model training, deployment, and monitoring workloads.
- Build and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, documentation, and runbooks for platform reliability and performance.
- Enforce DevSecOps, security, regulatory, secrets-management, and vulnerability-scanning practices.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks and collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and product teams to improve delivery workflows.
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response and root-cause analysis for platform issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, with at least five years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps and proficiency with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Expert knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including Helm and Kustomize.
- Hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or equivalent languages, plus experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, or similar observability platforms.
- Advanced Git proficiency and familiarity with GitFlow or trunk-based development.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps, Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, vulnerability scanning, and secure infrastructure practices.
- Fluent written and spoken English; German or Spanish is advantageous.
- Preferred qualifications include AI/ML or data-intensive engineering experience, MLOps platforms such as MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI, or Azure ML; AI/LLM deployment experience; relevant cloud or DevOps certifications; and experience in regulated financial services or insurance.
