Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native backend applications and services on AWS for enterprise-scale IoT solutions.
- Build scalable APIs and backend components using Node.js and/or Python.
- Manage AWS cloud infrastructure with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, and engineering teams to deliver business-aligned technical solutions.
- Improve system reliability, monitoring, troubleshooting, automated testing, and CI/CD processes.
- Support and operate production systems in cloud environments when needed.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js and/or Python.
- Solid experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
- Experience in Agile delivery environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills focused on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Experience with IoT platforms, connected-device ecosystems, MQTT, AWS IoT Core, production cloud systems, serverless architectures, AWS managed services, or CI/CD tools is advantageous.
