Base Salary
$147k - $211k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Create component designs and participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select among available technologies.
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback on coding best practices, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to documentation or educational content and adapt it based on product or program updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their impact on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Two years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation.
- Two years of software development experience using C++, Python, Go, or Java.
- Two years of experience with data structures and algorithms, product lifecycle, and software development best practices including debugging.
- Two years of experience in distributed systems, large-scale cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, systems infrastructure, or AI/ML.
- One year of experience operating services in the cloud.
Benefits
- US base salary range of $147,000-$211,000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
- Position reports to a Google office and may allow a hybrid schedule under Google policy.
