Base Salary
$174k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop code to integrate mature hardware systems and collaborate with subject-matter experts on advanced algorithms.
- Work with test leads across modeling and simulation and live test, including Live-Virtual-Constructive infrastructure.
- Lead small focused teams implementing and testing real-time applications using open-architecture software principles.
- Implement real-time systems in modern C++ based on verified algorithms written in higher-level languages such as MATLAB.
- Engage with potential and current customers to understand requirements and shape product development.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and excel under limited guidance.
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ development, including multithreaded applications.
- Experience with test-driven development, CI/CD practices, cross-platform development on Windows, Linux, and iOS, version-control workflows, and hardware/software integration.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with a PhD, 5 years with an MS, or 7 years with a BS.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship under U.S. government requirements.
- Preferred qualifications include an active Secret or Top Secret clearance, 5 or more years of C++ programming with open-architecture systems, safety-critical software architecture experience, real-time software development, algorithm optimization, network protocol debugging, familiarity with OMS/UCI and A-GRA, and experience with static/dynamic analysis and automated testing frameworks.
