Responsibilities
- Write specifications containing executable acceptance criteria, data classification, authorization matrices, volume assumptions, and performance budgets.
- Define API schemas, types, module boundaries, and invariants before implementation fan-out.
- Pilot coding agents with bounded tasks, explicit artifacts, stop conditions, budgets, and traceability.
- Build property tests, contract tests, query and allocation budgets, execution-plan checks, policy-as-code, and backward-compatibility proofs.
- Verify generated and peer code independently against adversarial specifications.
- Design for reversibility, progressive delivery, structured logging, traces, metrics, instrumentation, and controlled blast radius.
- Own product features end-to-end from technical design through deployment, iteration, and maintenance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant experience building and operating B2B SaaS platforms in production.
- Proven ownership of features across their full lifecycle on long-lived, multi-year products.
- Strong experience with complex, scalable web architectures and real modularity.
- Demonstrated sustained production use of coding agents, with accountability for reviewing and explaining generated code.
- Fluency in property-based testing, contract testing, specification-derived testing, and representative volumetric test data.
- Experience modeling authorization in multi-tenant systems and understanding agent-assisted pipeline security risks.
- Experience measuring and controlling query budgets, N+1 queries, unbounded result sets, missing indexes, network calls in loops, and execution plans.
- Excellent written communication and extensive collaboration with product managers, designers, and stakeholders.
- Strong ownership, risk judgment, and product-oriented decision-making.
- Based in France with full working rights and fluent in French and English.
- Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience in senior SaaS environments.
