Base Salary
$128k - $173k/yr
Responsibilities
- Gather customer requirements and prepare requirements, design, implementation, and test documentation.
- Develop BMC Helix workflows, forms, fields, data imports, integrations, and Digital Workplace service offerings.
- Build and maintain REST API, web service, and LDAP integrations between Helix and external systems.
- Support incident assignments, customer communications, change requests, Jira stories, production maintenance, and service-level objectives.
- Manage sprint work, technical debt, demonstrations, implementation reviews, and delivery milestones.
- Support customer onboarding, ad hoc requests, sustainment, continual service improvement, and on-call rotations.
- Maintain system integrity through configuration control, change management, and prescribed operating procedures.
- Analyze gaps between out-of-the-box workflows and custom requirements and recommend minimized customization.
- Work remotely with customers, peers, and leadership across multiple projects and teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- BMC Accredited Administrator certification or equivalent Remedy/Helix Developer Studio experience.
- Experience with BMC Remedy version 23.x or higher and Helix/Remedy application process flows.
- Experience with SaaS solutions or AWS Cloud environments.
- Expert familiarity with one or more Helix applications, including Incident Management, Knowledge Management, Change Management, Task Management, Release Management, Service Level Management, Service Request Management, Work Order Management, Smart Reporting, Helix Dashboards, Smart IT, Digital Workplace Portal, CMDB, or Asset Management.
- Experience with Pentaho Spoon, BMC HDM, REST APIs, or web services for system interfaces or data migration.
- CompTIA Security+ CE certification, obtainable within three months of starting.
- BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
- Working knowledge of relational databases, networking concepts, OSI rules, logging, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to gather and document requirements, create process flows, analyze data, prepare customer demonstrations, and communicate effectively.
- Experience working with multiple projects and team members in a remote environment.
- Active Secret clearance is preferred; US citizenship is required.
- Experience with ITIL, additional Helix applications, Agile project environments, Jira story management, and customer demonstrations is preferred or advantageous.
