Responsibilities
- Build robust, secure, and scalable microservices for JioStar applications.
- Write maintainable code, conduct unit testing, and participate in code reviews.
- Design appropriate relational, document, key-value, object, graph, and index stores, as well as messaging systems.
- Operate and maintain cloud infrastructure while ensuring sub-second server response times.
- Evaluate technologies and influence architecture and design discussions.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers and interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in Java, Golang, or Python.
- Experience building distributed domain-driven microservices.
- Strong understanding of database and storage fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, messaging systems such as Kafka, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with large-scale production systems and a focus on performance and reliability is preferred.
- Ability to translate ambiguous product requirements into scalable technical solutions.
