Responsibilities
- Write production-quality code for critical pricing platform capabilities, complex integrations, and technically challenging initiatives.
- Define and own end-to-end technical architecture, design documents, APIs, data models, workflows, and operational readiness plans.
- Build scalable Java- or Kotlin-based microservices using event-driven architecture, Kafka, API-first principles, and cloud infrastructure.
- Design pricing recommendations, rule evaluation, approvals, simulations, publishing, execution, auditability, and downstream integrations.
- Own persistence and data-modeling strategies across relational, NoSQL, and analytical data stores.
- Design resilient distributed workflows using orchestration, outbox, retries, circuit breaking, idempotency, and dead-letter processing patterns.
- Define REST and gRPC APIs with versioning, backward compatibility, and contract testing strategies.
- Drive multi-market and multi-tenant architecture while balancing global consistency with market-specific requirements.
- Identify systemic risks and improve scalability, reliability, security, data integrity, observability, and technical debt.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines supporting automated testing, security validation, canary deployment, rollback, and production verification.
- Lead production-readiness reviews, incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and reliability improvements.
- Mentor junior, mid-level, and senior engineers through design reviews, code reviews, pairing, and structured feedback.
