Responsibilities
- Administer Azure subscriptions, resource groups, landing zones, networking, identity, RBAC, policies, Key Vault, monitoring, and cost controls.
- Maintain Terraform infrastructure-as-code modules, providers, variables, state and backends, workspaces, plan/apply workflows, and drift remediation.
- Operate GitHub Enterprise Server CI/CD workflows and self-hosted runners, including Azure DevOps integration where applicable.
- Ensure infrastructure and configuration changes are version-controlled and deployed through approved CI/CD processes.
- Monitor platform health, availability, capacity, security alerts, and integration failures, and support incident triage and root-cause analysis.
- Execute controlled releases, deployment verification, rollback procedures, and deployment support.
- Troubleshoot network, identity, API, data-access, and connectivity issues across Azure, GCP, and on-premise dependencies.
- Maintain operational runbooks, configuration inventories, monitoring and incident records, deployment procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials.
Requirements
- Minimum three years of hands-on Microsoft Azure administration and operations experience in production or enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on Terraform and infrastructure-as-code experience, including module design, state and backend management, plan/apply workflows, and drift remediation.
- Experience with GitHub Enterprise Server, GitHub Actions, self-hosted runners, and CI/CD pipeline support.
- Knowledge of Azure networking, including virtual networks, DNS, routing, load balancers, and firewalls.
- Knowledge of IAM, RBAC, policy management, secrets management, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Experience with release execution, rollback planning, deployment support, monitoring, incident management, problem management, and operational documentation.
- Working knowledge of API Management/API gateways, REST APIs, event streaming, and cross-cloud or on-premise connectivity.
- Preferred experience includes Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, DevSecOps, security scanning, policy-as-code, Azure governance, Terraform Cloud or Enterprise, ServiceNow, ITSM, backup, disaster recovery, and high availability.
- Strongly preferred certifications include Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400), HashiCorp Terraform Associate, GitHub Actions, Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500), Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300), or Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer.
