Responsibilities

Collaborate with technical personnel and team members to finalize software and product requirements.
Develop detailed specifications and translate moderately complex requirements into effective software designs.
Implement software development processes and coding best practices, and participate in code reviews.
Develop, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues and complete bug fixes across development environments.
Build and maintain Java-based services using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA, Cosmos DB, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
Configure and support Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure cloud services with a focus on performance optimization.
Contribute to technology migrations and related initiatives, including Java upgrades, Kafka/EventHub, Databricks, and Python work as applicable.

At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience.
Strong Java experience, with Java 8 required and Java 11 or Java 21 preferred.
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA, and Cosmos DB.
Experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting.
Experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Azure cloud environments; GitHub Actions is preferred.
Familiarity with Kafka/EventHub and a strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems.
Java migration experience from versions 8 to 11 or 21, Databricks, and Python are preferred.
