Responsibilities
- Develop, debug, and optimize PL/SQL scripts for data transformation and integration.
- Rewrite queries and PL/SQL code to improve efficiency, scalability, and response time.
- Write and maintain ETL scripts for extracting, transforming, and loading data between databases and systems.
- Perform data migration while ensuring data integrity.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot database issues involving application performance, errors, and system downtime.
- Work with developers, DBAs, business analysts, and project managers to deliver solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and peer programming, and mentor junior developers.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of PL/SQL Developer experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience, is required.
- Deep understanding of Oracle Database architecture and features, including tablespaces, indexes, and constraints.
- Experience with SQL*Plus, SQL Developer, TOAD, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
- Experience resolving database issues through recovery, patching, and upgrading.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Java programming knowledge is nice to have.
