Responsibilities
- Work closely with the development team in an Agile environment to understand functional specifications and design requirements.
- Independently create comprehensive feature test plans aligned with development milestones and feature completion.
- Leverage existing automation frameworks to automate feature tests and actively augment libraries to support new functionalities.
- Own the complete test execution cycle for user stories, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Perform a mix of automated, manual, white-box, and black-box testing.
- Create, maintain, and document testbed setups and environments.
- Timely report, track, and update issues and test cases using management tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality benchmarks are met throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Deep understanding of threading, multiprocessing, and socket programming.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and cloud architecture.
- Strong proficiency in one or more high-level languages such as Python or Golang.
- Experience with SQL databases.
- Expertise in RESTful API testing.
- Proficiency with bug and test management tools like Jira and XRay.
- Familiarity with Agile testing methodologies and quality metrics.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging capabilities.
- Proficiency with Git or SVN.
- B.Tech / B.E / M.E./ M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3-6 years of relevant experience.
