Responsibilities
- Define Verification and Validation strategies and plans to ensure customer and design requirements are met.
- Optimize the allocation of testing between in-house and on-site activities.
- Ensure adherence to internal processes, norms, methods, and tools, managing deviations when necessary.
- Organize and lead documentation verification and reviews.
- Manage full verification and validation of configured functions, parameters, and project data.
- Define and follow up on test benches and analysis tools.
- Collaborate with Test and Commissioning teams to define and track Site Acceptance Tests.
- Prioritize and oversee deliverables from the Project/Program Verification and Validation Team.
- Maintain independence between verification and design activities.
- Represent Alstom to customers, partners, and auditors regarding test strategies, progress, and opportunities.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, such as Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience in product development, system testing, and unit testing.
- Understanding and experience with software coding, such as Python or Lua Script, and Linux OS.
- Knowledge of at least one Alstom platform.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive attitude, and excellent technical writing skills.
- Knowledge of more than one Alstom platform and a background in product and system development are desirable.
- At least five years of relevant experience, such as systems or subsystem integration, embedded equipment, or electrotechnical product development, in a complex and normative environment such as railway signalling is desirable.
