Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated QA frameworks using Java, Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber-JVM, SQL, and Maven.
- Test FIX protocol pricing, quote, and order workflows across the FX trading platform.
- Perform functional, regression, API, GUI, database, server-side, backend, and integration testing.
- Conduct performance testing including load, stress, and fault-tolerance testing.
- Support infrastructure and deployment testing in AWS (Viking) cloud environments.
- Use Docker and Kubernetes to set up test environments and automate testing.
- Build or use mocks and simulator components to support robust and isolated automation environments.
- Maintain test plans, contribute to test strategy, and embed quality early through a shift-left approach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools to improve QA and automation productivity.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of QA automation experience.
- Strong knowledge of QA processes and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber-JVM, SQL, and Maven.
- Experience with API, GUI, and database testing.
- Experience or exposure to FIX (Financial Information eXchange) protocol testing.
- Server-side, backend, and integration testing experience.
- Exposure to infrastructure testing and AWS (Viking) cloud environments.
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of technical architecture, test strategy, and maintaining test plans.
- Ability to build or use mocks and simulator components for automation.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
- Exposure to Kafka messaging and an interest in FX trading or financial technology are advantageous.
- Experience solving performance bottlenecks or debugging distributed systems is advantageous.
