Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and maintain the infrastructure layer supporting onboarding flows, referral systems, and user acquisition pipelines.
- Investigate reliability incidents affecting growth surfaces and prevent recurring failure modes.
- Review growth engineering pull requests for infrastructure soundness and scalability.
- Instrument data pipelines to identify bottlenecks and failure points before production impact.
- Coordinate with growth engineering on hardening systems versus shipping new functionality.
- Define infrastructure standards and patterns for the growth engineering team.
- Identify ambiguous cross-team systems, define boundaries, and drive improvements independently.
Requirements
- 7+ years of infrastructure or platform engineering experience, including meaningful production ownership.
- Track record of shipping systems under real user-growth pressure rather than only maintaining inherited infrastructure.
- Ability to own systems end-to-end and make decisions independently in ambiguous situations.
- Experience proactively reducing incidents and identifying bottlenecks in data pipelines or user-facing flows.
- Strong judgment balancing shipping velocity and correctness in a fast-moving engineering environment.
- Prior experience building growth infrastructure such as referral systems, onboarding flows, or user acquisition tooling is a plus.
- Experience working on small, high-autonomy engineering teams is a plus.
