Responsibilities
- Design, develop, debug, unit test, implement, and enhance AB Suite applications and application components.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for assigned development tasks.
- Provide L2/L3 application maintenance and resolve issues within agreed service levels.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, identify root causes, and support deployment, implementation, and validation activities.
- Monitor application performance and contribute to automation, continuous improvement, and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior developers, technical leads, business analysts, and globally distributed teams.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing, transition, and knowledge acquisition activities.
- Support system testing and follow secure coding, quality, software development lifecycle, and development standards.
- Report progress, risks, issues, and dependencies in a timely manner.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 0 to 3 years of experience in application development, support, testing, or maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle concepts and programming principles.
- Exposure to object-oriented programming concepts is desirable.
- Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, DMSII, or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
- Strong willingness to learn enterprise application technologies.
