Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise API solutions using Apigee.
- Build and manage API proxies, security policies, traffic management, and API analytics.
- Develop serverless applications and event-driven integrations using Google Cloud Functions.
- Implement scalable messaging and asynchronous communication using Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
- Design cloud-native integration patterns and integrate enterprise applications, third-party systems, and cloud services.
- Maintain API security, governance, compliance, monitoring, and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues involving APIs and cloud integrations.
- Collaborate with architects, stakeholders, and development teams on technical solutions and participate in code reviews and architecture governance.
- Support CI/CD implementation and DevOps practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and integration specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 7 years of overall software development and integration experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apigee API Management, Google Cloud Functions, and Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions and cloud-native applications.
- Knowledge of API security, OAuth 2.0, JWT authentication, API gateways, monitoring, analytics, rate limiting, and traffic management.
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP services, event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, microservices integration, JavaScript, Python, Java, JSON, and YAML.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins or Cloud Build, infrastructure as code, and release management.
- Google Cloud certification or Apigee certification is preferred.
- Experience with microservices-based architectures, Kubernetes, container technologies, enterprise cloud transformation programs, cloud security, and API governance is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
