Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and troubleshoot software applications and systems.
- Build and enhance customer communications and document composition solutions using OpenText Exstream.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with minimal guidance.
- Troubleshoot issues, optimize existing code, and support production workflows.
- Collaborate with product owners, analysts, and engineers to gather requirements and deliver business-aligned technical solutions.
- Contribute to design decisions, improve code quality and development practices, and stay current with AI-assisted development practices.
- Mentor others when possible and connect technical decisions to business outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Hands-on experience with OpenText Exstream is strongly preferred and a primary requirement.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with C++ and/or Python and with building, maintaining, and troubleshooting production-grade software.
- Solid understanding of software development fundamentals, including design, testing, and debugging.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a solid command of English.
- Preferred experience includes AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, AI/ML concepts, AI-enabled solution integration, Java, C#/.NET, scripting and automation, and SQL with relational databases.
