Lead Infrastructure Engineer

- Lead infrastructure engineering workstreams and projects across one or more infrastructure technologies.
- Design, develop, implement, and troubleshoot infrastructure changes of moderate complexity.
- Architect and implement platform changes to resolve issues and modernize technology processes.
- Manage enterprise deployment of Microsoft Communication and Collaboration products in hybrid environments.
- Manage the lifecycle of email objects using Microsoft Exchange and SMTP in hybrid environments.
- Operate and migrate cloud infrastructure across public and private clouds.
- Use and validate enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for infrastructure analysis, design documentation, automation, and remediation.
- Assess upstream and downstream technical impacts and ensure changes meet resiliency, security, traceability, and auditability expectations.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Deep knowledge of at least one infrastructure engineering area, such as hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessment.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in infrastructure engineering workflows with strong validation and data-sensitivity practices.
- Experience with enterprise-level deployment of Microsoft Communication and Collaboration products in a hybrid environment.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Exchange, SMTP, and identity management, particularly email-object lifecycle management in hybrid environments.
- Deep knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and scripting languages.
- Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies, including operation and migration across public and private clouds.
