Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical expert for the Blue Yonder Cloud WMS environment.
  • Resolve complex production issues and implement permanent code-level fixes to improve stability, scalability, and throughput.
  • Develop and support microservices integrating AS400 and other legacy systems with Blue Yonder Cloud WMS.
  • Build and maintain data transformations, asynchronous message routing, and API endpoints.
  • Monitor, trace, and troubleshoot high-volume enterprise message flows and data synchronization issues.
  • Use Grafana, Sumo Logic, and cloud-native monitoring tools to analyze logs, build dashboards, and identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with development teams on support-ready APIs, microservices, logging, telemetry, error handling, and database performance.
  • Manage deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines across AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud environments.
  • Program, modify, test, and document applications involving Blue Yonder, Logistyx, integration microservices, and legacy systems.
  • Monitor cloud applications, resolve infrastructure alerts, and maintain uptime and effective resource utilization.
  • Explain technical status, integration risks, and permanent remediation strategies to business owners and logistics leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of professional software development experience with increasing responsibility.
  • At least 5 years of software experience, including significant support, development, and optimization work in Blue Yonder/JDA WMS environments.
  • Experience leading technical aspects of projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Blue Yonder WMS environments, microservices architecture, JSON, XML, and asynchronous message routing.
  • Proficiency in production monitoring, log analysis, telemetry visibility, Sumo Logic, Grafana, or similar APM tools.
  • Ability to translate legacy AS400 data structures into modern cloud events and microservices.
  • Ability to deliver efficient, stable, and documented solutions spanning code changes and infrastructure troubleshooting.
  • Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and production-support skills.
