Responsibilities
- Own the team’s automation strategy from initial concept through fully built solutions.
- Expand automation frameworks and build tools for validating diagnostic and repair systems.
- Set up monitoring systems and maintain readiness to test new Apple products.
- Create test plans and cases from software feature descriptions and requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Apple.
- Explore and integrate AI initiatives into existing processes.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of Swift and Python programming experience.
- Experience building and growing XCUITests and supporting frameworks.
- Proven understanding of software testing and QA methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of Unix-based systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
- Preferred: understanding of CI/CD systems such as Jenkins.
- Preferred: understanding of Apple Service Toolkit 2 and Field Diagnostics ecosystems.
- Preferred: exposure to MDM solutions such as Puppet or Ansible.
- Preferred: previous professional experience with robotics.
