Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end system architectures for Spectrum-X solutions spanning networking, software, hardware, infrastructure, and application integration.
- Lead architecture activities across requirements, system definition, implementation, validation, deployment, and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver integrated, high-performance solutions.
- Evaluate and integrate software and hardware technologies including load balancing, telemetry, and congestion control.
- Translate product and business requirements into architectural requirements, interfaces, tradeoffs, and technical execution plans.
- Identify system-wide architectural gaps, dependencies, tradeoffs, and performance bottlenecks.
- Partner with productization, test, validation, deployment, and support teams to prepare reliable and scalable production solutions.
- Author architecture documents, design specifications, technical requirements, and technical publications.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout implementation and integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in software architecture, systems engineering, or developing large-scale performance-critical systems.
- Strong networking expertise, including high-performance networks, distributed systems, and networked applications.
- Deep understanding of deep learning systems, GPU acceleration, and AI model execution flows.
- Experience defining and delivering end-to-end architectures spanning software, hardware, networking, and infrastructure.
- Experience leading complex technical initiatives in large-scale, multifunctional environments.
- Ability to translate broad product goals into architectural requirements, interfaces, tradeoffs, and execution plans.
- Strong communication and technical leadership skills for influencing decisions across teams and organizational boundaries.
- Experience architecting high-performance networking solutions for AI, cloud, data center, or distributed-computing environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with NVIDIA networking technologies and the Spectrum-X platform is preferred.
- Experience with AI training or inference infrastructure, GPU-accelerated systems, large-scale compute clusters, AI accelerators, distributed communication patterns, congestion control, or load balancing is preferred.
