Responsibilities
- Lead high-impact full-stack initiatives across Decisioning Studio, including agent setup, creative and launch workflows, reporting, and services connected to ML pipelines.
- Build product experiences across dashboard UI, data models, APIs, background jobs, and backend services.
- Lead web application architecture efforts focused on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and ML Engineering to translate the AI product roadmap into reliable software.
- Influence product strategy and roadmap through technical insights and user-experience innovation.
- Mentor engineers, guide technical growth, and foster a high-performance engineering culture.
- Support teams implementing Braze’s AI solutions to facilitate customer success and effective collaboration.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience with a strong record of delivering impact.
- Strong full-stack development experience, including data models, APIs, background jobs, and end-to-end product surfaces.
- Strong frontend development skills with TypeScript and React; Vue experience is a plus.
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable web application architectures.
- Experience using AI coding agents as a default development workflow and building reusable skills and automation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including design documents and technical proposals.
- User-centric approach and commitment to exceptional user experiences and maintainable, high-quality code.
- Ability to navigate large codebases, work with multiple stakeholders, and drive consensus on technical decisions.
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to their technical development.
- Preferred: experience building user experiences for machine-learning and data-intensive applications.
- Preferred: experience building product surfaces on LLMs and agentic systems, including embeddings, agent orchestration, and evaluation.
- Preferred: experience with Python and/or Ruby on Rails.
