Base Salary
$202k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own web products from inception through delivery at Uber scale.
- Design and build web applications using React, GraphQL, Flow, CSS in JS, Node.js, Base UI, Styletron, and Fusion.js.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and build cross-functional solutions.
- Track feature experiments and collaborate with Data Science and Product teams to improve user experiences.
- Build and integrate with backend services, APIs, and streaming messaging services.
- Coach and mentor junior or new engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Ship high-quality features on schedule.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of web development experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web application frameworks or libraries.
- Experience with frameworks or libraries such as React.js, Vue.js, Node.js, Angular, or Next.js.
- Experience shipping high-quality features on schedule.
- Preferred: BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, bi-directional streaming messaging services, single-page application monitoring and analytics, microservices, and APIs.
- Strong verbal, written, and collaboration skills.
