Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and execution of critical cryptographic infrastructure and regulatory-compliance services.
- Define multi-quarter technical strategies and clarify ambiguous requirements for novel cryptographic solutions.
- Own ambitious initiatives involving secure and resilient cryptographic protocols in a high-stakes, zero-trust environment.
- Mentor senior engineers, drive rigorous code reviews, improve engineering quality, and eliminate single points of failure.
- Build alignment with Security, Product, and Policy partners to deliver cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience building highly available, distributed systems.
- Deep expertise in applied cryptography, Key Management Systems, or Hardware Security Modules; Multi-Party Computation experience is strongly preferred.
- Extensive experience with systems languages such as Golang, Java, C++, or Rust, particularly in a Golang-heavy environment.
- Experience operating Tier-0 or otherwise highly critical infrastructure where resilience, security, and low latency are essential.
- Experience leading technical strategy, architecture, and deliverables for large-scale projects while translating regulatory requirements into engineering solutions.
- Ability to use generative AI responsibly with appropriate human oversight.
