Responsibilities
- Automate the retrieval of artifacts from predefined external sources using tools such as ARC.
- Develop and operate Kubernetes Operators in Go and API extensions for software supply chain security.
- Integrate scalable Kubernetes-based antivirus scanners into the artifact import pipeline.
- Support OCI container images, Docker images, Helm charts, and generic large files.
- Verify artifact integrity and prepare artifacts through bundling and compression for physical or logical media transfer.
- Operate a scalable, multi-tenant artifact registry infrastructure on Kubernetes for internal users.
- Further develop Kubernetes Operators for automated artifact management, retrieval, and verification systems.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of SDLC principles, code version control, and Git.
- Practical DevOps or DevSecOps experience, especially building and using CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Linux, automation, and scripting.
- Experience setting up and operating Kubernetes.
- Experience operating and using Ceph and Rook, particularly object storage infrastructure.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps.
- Practical experience operating and using OCI registries on Kubernetes, such as Harbor, Nexus Repository, Artifactory, or Zot.
- Strong knowledge of Go/Golang and Python, including building Kubernetes Operators.
- Practical experience with artifact-signing tools and cryptographic hashes such as SHA-256 and SHA-512, plus knowledge of provenance.
- Knowledge of SBOMs and automated security scanners, such as those based on CNCF Falco.
- Confident documentation of user stories and features in Jira.
- Experience with physically or logically isolated environments and resilient processing of large files is desirable.
