Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal customers and partners to deliver business outcomes.
  • Design, develop, deploy, and operate reliable, scalable, efficient, and compliant cloud self-service platforms.
  • Enhance observability, monitoring, and alerting across cloud services.
  • Respond to cloud incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans.
  • Analyze system performance metrics and recommend improvements.
  • Optimize resource utilization and application performance.
  • Improve CI/CD processes to increase deployment velocity and reliability.
  • Build automation that streamlines operations, reduces manual work, and improves system reliability.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of programming experience with Go or Python.
  • At least 5 years of experience implementing large-scale, distributed, highly available, fault-tolerant systems and infrastructure in production.
  • Experience delivering products in a multifunctional team environment.
  • Expertise with observability tools and practices.
  • Extensive experience with Kubernetes as an SRE or with related cloud infrastructure and cloud-native technologies.
  • Strong understanding of API design and RESTful principles, including building web services at scale.
  • Kubernetes, lifecycle management, or related certifications are preferred.
  • Kubernetes controller development experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience with application lifecycle management, CI/CD, high-traffic large-scale environments, additional programming languages or frameworks, Agile development, and open-source projects is preferred.
