Base Salary
$179k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the design and delivery of CI/CD platform capabilities used by thousands of software pipelines across the company.
- Re-architect the CI/CD platform by defining contracts and abstractions that support rapid software delivery without breaking dependent teams.
- Lead diverse technology projects and provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across the organization.
- Build regulatory compliance and controls directly into the software delivery platform.
- Establish engineering standards, coding standards, and design patterns while improving software quality.
- Work across JVM languages, Go, Python, TypeScript, containers, Kubernetes, distributed systems, workflow engines, and AWS services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience, excluding internship experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred: 7+ years coding with more than two of Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, and Scala.
- Preferred: experience with databases, AWS/GCP/Azure, open-source frameworks, front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, synchronous and asynchronous APIs, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing frameworks, and Git-based version control.
- Preferred: experience troubleshooting cloud environments, using AI coding tools and IDE copilots, applying observability to distributed systems, mentoring engineers, and leading large-scale technical initiatives.
- Preferred: experience establishing and enforcing coding standards and design patterns across teams.
