
Associate, Software Engineer

- Develop and maintain applications supporting securities lending and prime brokerage technology.
- Own software changes from inception through production deployment across the full software development lifecycle.
- Implement new functionality and identify process gaps or improvement opportunities.
- Apply testing practices with a focus on scalability, stability, and high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate directly with business stakeholders and global technology teams.
- Support and communicate across remotely dispersed regional teams and applications.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience developing applications with Java or Scala.
- Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
- Experience with testing tools such as JUnit, JBehave, Cucumber, or Concordion.
- Knowledge of Sybase, DB2, and MongoDB databases.
- Working knowledge of Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, and Unix.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices and a record of high-quality delivery.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with global teams.
- Preferred experience in the financing industry, especially equity, prime brokerage, equity swaps, or securities lending.
- Preferred front-end experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, and Angular.
