Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and operate the agent platform, infrastructure, and integrations runtime end to end.
- Establish engineering patterns and practices for future engineers.
- Work directly with company founders to shape the system.
- Regularly ship production improvements.
Requirements
- Two to nine years of professional software engineering experience.
- A completed or in-progress bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in engineering, computer science, or a quantitative field from a strong technical university.
- Repeated experience shipping and owning production systems end to end across agent platforms, infrastructure, and integration runtimes.
- Ability to use multiple AI coding agents while maintaining production quality.
- Experience founding a startup with outside funding or full-time employees, or engineering at an early-stage startup backed by a recognized accelerator or venture capital firm.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, React, Bun, Effect-TS, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, or AWS.
Benefits
- Base salary of $150,000 to $250,000 USD annually.
- Visa sponsorship is available where an O-1 visa is a realistic option.
- On-site in San Francisco, California, five days per week.
- Candidates elsewhere in the United States should have a concrete, dated plan to relocate to San Francisco.
