Responsibilities
- Own and develop the platform infrastructure strategy.
- Make principled build vs. buy assessments for tools.
- Create and maintain comprehensive internal documentation.
- Participate in architectural forums and make open decisions.
- Be directly involved in system design and implementation.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and their failure modes.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and experience operating clusters under load.
- Strong Go programming skills with experience in building production systems.
- Multi-cloud architectural decision-making experience across AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaboration.
