Responsibilities
- Support modernization of a large JavaScript application ecosystem.
- Migrate applications to newer JavaScript versions.
- Help migrate applications from npm to pnpm.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-migration and dependency issues.
- Collaborate with application teams to support and facilitate migrations.
- Identify improvements to migration consistency, reliability, and efficiency.
- Automate application migrations where appropriate.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript.
- Experience migrating applications to newer JavaScript versions.
- Experience using pnpm.
- Deep understanding of the JavaScript open-source ecosystem.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving application-migration issues.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours overlapping with a US-based team.
- Enterprise experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with large-scale application modernization or migration projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI tools, build optimization, and dependency management is preferred.
- Experience with enterprise JavaScript applications at scale is preferred.
Benefits
