Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technical personnel and stakeholders to finalize software and product requirements.
- Develop detailed specifications and translate moderately complex requirements into effective software designs.
- Implement software development processes, coding best practices, and participate in code reviews.
- Develop, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues and complete bug fixes across development environments.
- Write effective code and perform unit testing for individual software components.
- Configure and support services using Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure cloud environments.
- Optimize performance and contribute to technology migrations, including Java upgrades, Kafka/EventHub, Databricks, and Python initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience.
- Strong Java experience, with Java 8 required and Java 11 or Java 21 preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, microservices, Hibernate, JPA, and Cosmos DB.
- Experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, CI/CD, GitHub Actions preferred, and Azure cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Kafka/EventHub and a strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems.
- Java migration experience, Databricks, and Python are preferred.
