Base Salary
$67k - $124k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage shared platform services used by engineering teams.
- Contribute to engineering workflows, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and service reliability.
- Build and maintain scripts, tools, and automation to reduce manual effort and improve platform consistency.
- Monitor and support infrastructure across on-premises and AWS environments.
- Investigate incidents, respond to alerts, and collaborate on root-cause analysis and remediation.
- Participate in a 24/7 follow-the-sun on-call rotation shared between teams in the United States and India.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, support guides, and operational runbooks.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support new capabilities and evolving engineering workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- One to three years of relevant experience, including internships, co-ops, apprenticeships, or early full-time roles.
- Working knowledge of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Exposure to containers, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, or systems automation.
- Ability to troubleshoot methodically, escalate issues appropriately, and communicate clearly across teams.
- Interest in operational excellence, systems reliability, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Experience with Kubernetes, AWS services, CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions, and observability tools such as Grafana or Prometheus is a plus.
