Base Salary
$180k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain high compliance environments on Cloudflare and in containerized environments.
- Optimize and scale the data platform, including Postgres and object storage.
- Build core systems that power GovSignals' AI platform.
- Prototype and scale new platform capabilities for faster development.
- Own CI/CD and automation processes for seamless shipping.
- Create tools and workflows to accelerate product delivery.
- Engineer secure systems with strong automation and minimalism.
- Balance speed and reliability through sound technical design.
- Partner with the Product team to enhance platform features.
- Collaborate with leadership to evolve infrastructure strategy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend, platform, or infrastructure engineering roles.
- Experience in building and deploying production services using Typescript or Python.
- Experience scaling Docker and Kubernetes in live environments.
- Experience with Postgres and data modeling at scale.
- Familiarity with observability stacks like OpenTelemetry.
- Proven ability to operate across layers with speed and precision.
- Bonus: Contributions to open-source tooling or familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST 800-171, or CMMC frameworks.
