Base Salary
$150k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Integrate and optimize LLM calls for structured extraction, form filling, and document-understanding tasks.
- Improve API design and preprocessing algorithms, including chunking and structured extraction, based on customer feedback.
- Build and improve document-processing pipelines for PDFs and spreadsheets at scale.
- Experiment with techniques and output structures to improve LLM accuracy and reduce latency.
- Build internal tooling and evaluations to analyze failure cases.
- Work directly with founders and customers to shape product direction and engineering strategy.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience building real-world applications and integrating LLMs into production systems.
- Exceptional Python skills.
- Ability to build tools as needed, such as Streamlit applications for testing hypotheses or creating datasets.
- Comfort with quantitative debugging, experimentation, iteration, and the full development lifecycle from ideation through shipping.
- Prior experience founding a company or building products at early stages is a bonus.
- Experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, or building AI agents is a bonus.
- Interest in keeping up with the latest developments in machine learning and artificial intelligence is a bonus.
