Base Salary
$124k - $186k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize Adreno GPU drivers, high-performance kernels, runtimes, and frameworks for GPGPU operations.
- Accelerate machine learning inference and training operations on the GPU and support image-processing workloads.
- Work with OpenCL, OpenGL ES, Vulkan, DirectX, and the graphics software stack across Android, Linux, and Windows.
- Collaborate with hardware designers to understand, improve, and document hardware/software interfaces.
- Write code for features, drivers, and APIs using C, C++, Python, and other languages.
- Create samples, detailed design documentation, feature descriptions, and unit tests.
- Collaborate with team members, external developers, partners, and OEMs to implement and customize functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field plus 2+ years of relevant engineering or related experience; or a master's degree plus 1+ year of relevant experience; or a PhD in a related field.
- At least 1 year of academic and/or work experience with a graphics-suitable programming language such as C++ or C.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills.
- Familiarity with a GPGPU API such as CUDA or OpenCL.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Preferred qualifications include machine learning theory, PyTorch, GPGPU application development, device driver development, OpenGL ES, Vulkan, DX11, DX12, embedded systems, real-time operating systems, ARM architecture, and Git or other SCM tools.
