Base Salary
$155k - $197k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive full-stack application development across cloud-native and hybrid architectures.
- Design and implement scalable APIs with security, monitoring, and logging frameworks.
- Develop user interface components using React or Angular.
- Manage AWS infrastructure components and CI/CD pipelines, including CloudFormation, Lambda, ECS, S3, and RDS.
- Own production application operations, approve changes, and provide implementation and production support.
- Collaborate with business, product, project, investment, operations, and technology stakeholders to define requirements and delivery plans.
- Integrate with vendor platforms including BlackRock Aladdin and Snowflake.
- Lead code reviews, unit testing, quality assurance support, design documentation, and software development lifecycle activities.
- Evaluate system failures, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve performance, reliability, security, and resource consumption.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, governance oversight, and development standards guidance to employees, contractors, and vendor resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a lead role.
- Strong full-stack development experience with JavaScript, React or Angular, Node.js or Java/.NET/Python, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with AWS architecture and services including Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
- Strong API development and integration experience.
- Experience with testing frameworks including Jest, Cypress, and Selenium.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive cross-functional delivery in a matrix environment.
- Preferred experience in asset management, investment banking, or wealth management.
- Preferred knowledge of front-office platforms and workflows including SMA, OMS, PMS, and risk engines.
- Preferred experience with SMA or ETF platforms, fund lifecycle processes, Snowflake, Python, event-driven architecture, regulatory reporting, ESG data pipelines, or performance attribution systems.
Benefits
- Estimated base salary of $155,000–$197,000 per year.
- Eligible roles may receive variable compensation through bonuses, commissions, and/or long-term incentives.
