Responsibilities
- Develop features and tools supporting NVIDIA Enterprise services, including NGC, Kubernetes and other container orchestrators, GPU-accelerated applications, and deep learning frameworks.
- Work with customers and internal users to improve the availability, reliability, and experience of NVIDIA servers, system software, containers, and NVIDIA GPUs.
- Own customer issues involving system software components, containers, deep learning frameworks, and cloud deployments from investigation through resolution.
- Research new GPU use cases involving emerging container technologies and deep learning frameworks.
- Analyze, communicate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer software, hardware, and operating system issues.
- Provide engineering assistance for Sev1 outages during one weekend per month.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of system software development and troubleshooting experience, preferably including customer-facing work.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and excellent knowledge of Python and scripting.
- Deep understanding of at least two of data centers, servers, distributed systems, virtualization, deep learning frameworks, containers, or hybrid cloud.
- Deep Linux knowledge and comfort working with Linux environments and Windows operating systems.
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills with strong analytical, problem-solving, self-motivation, flexibility, and teamwork abilities.
- Preferred experience developing, triaging, and debugging Linux, containers, and deep learning frameworks; working with distributed systems and container orchestrators; and performing system-level debugging and triage.
