Base Salary
$125k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance web applications and services using .NET and Java.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and provide production support throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Design, develop, and support API-based services for transaction-processing applications.
- Use SQL or PostgreSQL to develop, manage, and performance-tune database solutions.
- Improve application reliability, performance, security, and resiliency while reducing client-impacting issues.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting, knowledge sharing, and engineering practice improvements.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and technology partners to deliver technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of applicable web and service development experience using .NET and Java.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting API-based services in a transaction-processing environment.
- Experience delivering reliable and scalable applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Experience using SQL or PostgreSQL for database development, management, or performance tuning.
- Preferred experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Preferred experience with DevOps, continuous integration and continuous delivery, code reviews, unit testing, testing procedures, technical troubleshooting, architecture, and solution design.
- Preferred experience working in Agile or scrum-based teams and coaching or mentoring team members.
