Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and build robust, scalable, user-facing personalization features across the full Gemini App stack.
- Analyze user feedback, logs, and evaluation tasks to identify personalization quality issues and opportunities.
- Implement targeted personalization quality improvements through fine-tuning or prompting.
- Develop automated and human-in-the-loop evaluation techniques for personalization quality.
- Contribute to a data flywheel that drives continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- Five years of programming experience in Python or C++.
- Three years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and one year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Two years of experience with machine learning, large language models, or applied AI.
- Two years of work or educational experience in machine learning and deep learning.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: one year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
